Question ASUS PRIME B350-PLUS 1 long 2 short beeps

Nov 11, 2020
So, the motherboard has 4 RAM slots and for some reason only slot A2 works, putting RAM sticks in any other slot causes 1 long 2 short beeps. I tried reseating the sticks, resetting the cmos, nothing helped.

Along the way, I also had to fix the bent pins on Ryzen 2600. They seem to be aligned pretty well now. There are no broken pins.

When I was unsrewing the cooler, I have scratched one lane on the motherboard, which leads to the RAM slots.

The scratch isn't very deep though. Could that be the issue? If so, can it be fixed?

*Update 1: I noticed that A1 and A2 slots are working fine together, but once I put any RAM stick in B1 or B2, I'm getting a beeping error. That means, I can run 2 sticks in single channel memory only.
*Update 2: I tried to untighten the motherboard screws around memory slots - didn't help. Resetting the CMOS with 2 ram sticks in dual channel - didn't worked as well.
