Hey! Got myself a new CPU, Mainboard and RAM:
- Asus prime B350 Plus
- Ryzen 5 1600
- HyperX Fury 2x4GB Kit HX426C15FBK2/8
While seating the CPU and closing the lever, I bent two pins of the CPU but managed to straighten them again. Put everything together and it did post, but only 4GB of my 8GB Memory are recognized properly. I put them in Slots A2 and B2 as written in my manual and both of them are displayed in Bios, but available memory is displayed as 4GB.
What I did so far:
- I got another kit of memory to test it out, same results
- Tried each memory stick on their own in slot A1 -> ok
- Put both in slots A1 and A2 -> ok but only single channel of course
- Put a single stick in B1 -> no post
- Put a single stick in B2 -> no post
Memory is in the QVL, Bios is up to date, I did not change any timings etc. Could it be that the Mainboard or CPU are broken? Thanks!
