Planning to use this with a gtx 1080 and ryzen 1600, with 3200MHz 2x8GB RAM (is compatible with both of the cards). I myself don't see any important reason to choose either of these cards over the other - the only real differences i found are:
Two more USB 2.0 on ASUS
Two more USB 3.0 (gen1) on ASUS
Two USB 3.1 (gen2) on ASUS, which MSI misses completely
Two more Serial ATA III on ASUS
Better integrated sound card on MSI (892 as opposed to 887)
8.1 channel sound on ASUS (as opposed to 7.1)
Which one would you buy?
