ASUS prime X-470 pro, single jack support for built in microphone?

Goodday,

I was wondering if I could plug my Sony WH-1000xm3 into my ASUS Prime X470 pro motherboard and get both the speakers and built in microphone to work. If that is possible. Do I just plug it into the green audio jack?
This motherboard has 6 different jacks. Manual is not very clear either on what they do. Currently am using my headset plugged into the green audio jack for music listening and gaming. Sounds good aside from a bit of static

Plug in to lime green port for audio out an dlight blue for a mic, but wouldn't it be better to use the headphones with bluetooth ?

The bluetooth on these headphones is really good but my bluetooth dongle on my desktop pc sucks balls. I dont want audio with 3s delay, so for gaming etc I want to use this cable, but the cable that comes with it is single jack only, so it does not really allow me to use my built in microphone

What you need is an adapter, single 4ring female to two 3ring (stereo) male 3.5mm jacks.
