im looking to buy a am4 motherboard for my ryzen 5 2600.
i was planning to get a MSI b450 gaming plus but then i saw the asus prime x379-pro on amazon for almost half price from $150 and im wondering if i should get this instead.
i think this mobo is 2 years old correct me if im wrong.
My question: is this a great motherboard for the reduced price of $82 or do you guys recommend others?

(i kept in mind the MSI Tomahawk but i dunno)

thanks people, appreciate it : ))

I think you meant x370 motherboard from Asus, their isint a x379 motherboard available. Asus builds quality products and motherboards as does MSI, don't think you'd go wrong with either. I will say the price on the Ryzen 2x CPU's and compatible motherboards are intruging, I'd wait a a few months if your looking to upgrade. The Ryzen 3x CPU's are going to roll out mid-year. If you wait a little longer you can get a even better deal on a quality motherboard for that Ryzen 5 2600.

If your looking to buy now here is a link for the AMD motherboards, IMO your not going to go wrong with AMD or MSI.
