I've just built a new PC and it is running very sluggish especially with online features such as Spotify and general web browsing.

One glaring issue is that I can't run the PC with both of my 8 GB RAM sticks (Corsair Vengeance LPX). The only configuration that allows me to see anything on my monitor is when I use 1 RAM stick in the DIMM_B1 slot (the one closest to the CPU).
According to the mobo manual the slot when using 1 RAM stick is DIMM_B2 and DIMM_B2 & A2 when using dual sticks.

Motherboard: Asus Prime X470-Pro
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8 GB 300 MHz DDR4
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
PSU: Seasonic Focus Plus 550 Gold

Check your current BIOS version for the motherboard against the latest version available from the ASUS website. Latest version is 5007.

Make sure you've installed all of the following.

Audio, network adapter (WiFi and Ethernet/LAN) and USB 3.1 drivers from the ASUS product page for your motherboard.

Chipset driver from here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/chipsets/amd-socket-am4/x470

After doing that, you will likely need to manually configure the memory speed, voltage and timings in the BIOS if you have tried setting the XMP/DOCP profile in the BIOS and have not had success. The Ryzen calculator will be helpful in that regard which you can download online for free.

You might have one bad RAM stick or bad MB. Any RAM I ever tried with my MB worked right. A2 and B2 slots (second and last from CPU) are right places.
Try them there and I suppose you did reset CMOS between the changes ?
Btw, which BIOS version ? 4602 and up are quite good.

I've installed Audio, network adapter (WiFi and Ethernet/LAN) and USB 3.1 drivers and updated BIOS to the latest version (5007).
I think one of the RAM sticks are bad and will look into replacing it.
Thanks for the help guys!

So I've bought a new set of the same RAM. Tried to install it but my monitor just shuts off after displaying no connection.
I then tried to switch back to the one ram stick I used before but face the same issue.
So atm I get no display with any of the ram sricks.
