On the recent test, Asus and gigabyte B450 surprisingly had bad VRM temperature readings. If you overclock probably you should look into other options.MSI and Asrock were fine.

The VRM is only important if you are trying to get the max overclock for your CPU, in which case you should be getting a $200 x470 motherboard. I prefer Asrock myself but any board over $80 will work for the average consumer.
