[SOLVED] Asus prime x470 pro

So i just got the afformentioned board for 99 euro. Which i thought was a bargain for a x470 and i jumped on it without checking alot of reviews and i had to act fast cause it was a type of flash deal.
My other board options were b450m mortar and b450m steel legend which both cost 97 euro. So did i get a good buy for the x470. I will pair it with r5 2600 and will try to go for a atleast 4.0 overclock.

Here in the u.s you can get it for around $130-$135. So you saved around $20 which isn't bad.

yea i feel quite happy with the purchase. I think basicly any x470 should be better than a b450 board and they were on the same price so yee but im not sure if it is better hahahah

Yes you have sli set up on x470, better sound, couple more usb slots and it will overclock a little bit better.

The only real advantage your X470 Prime has over some B450 boards according to the reviews I read is SLI support.

You shouldn't have any trouble OCing a 2600x to 4 GHz on your MB as long as you have decent CPU cooling and good case airflow.

X470 ussualy have better vrm, in this case both the b450 are 4+2 and this x470 is 6+2x2.

You definitely got a good deal on your MB and I'm sure it will run a 2600 at 4 GHz without any issues with proper cooling and good airflow.
Just as a reference I run my 2600 at 4 GHz and my VRM is at 27-29C at idle and has never gone above 35C (I have a Thermal sensor placed on my VRM heat sink under my IO shield).
