[SOLVED] asus prime x570 pro CPU cable VS Corsair HX 850

Solution
No, it's not a 12 pin, it's a 4 and a 8 pin sitting next to each other.
But looking at your PSU, the 4 pin cable should also be supplied but you can run the system fine with only the 8 pin, the (extra) 4 pin is used when you're overclocking.

What kind of motherboard do you have?
8 and 4 pin are for the CPU, the 24 pin connector is to power the board itself. And for my own curiosity, what is the crocodile clamp doing sticking out of the PSU?

Grounding myself with it, with an ifixit wrist wrap

The mobo i have is asus prime x570 pro

I only have a 8 pin connector, the mobo seems to need a 12 pin one?
