1.) Is the Asus Prime Z270-A a good motherboard for my i7 7700k, gtx 1070, 2x8GB DDR4 RAM gaming pc build? Or should I take another motherboard? (Im not planning to overclock anything any time soon)

2.) When I buy this motherboard, for example from Amazon.co.uk, can I put the i7 7700k right inside, or it wont work until I update the BIOS to support 7th generation intel processors? I've heard some people saying i7 7700k doesnt work on it until you update

I'm asking because I'm afraid of bricking my motherboard if I will have to be updating it :/, I'd rather take a motherboard that I don't have to mess around with but rather just put the processor inside.

Hopefully some of you guys have experience with this motherboard, so you can tell me whether it is good and will I have to update the BIOS.

PSU headroom is always fine, but we are finally in the age of a 500W flagship system. you can pull a 1080ti and 7700K and a good 500W is plenty.

Thanks a lot for your help guys!

So, all in all Asus Prime Z270-A is a good gaming motherboard, or I should spend extra money on a better one?

I'm building a beast PC for about 1400$ and really don't want to mess things up.
