Asus PRIME Z370 A (and A-II) compatible with new ninth gen intel cpus?

So. My original plan was to get the i7-8700k.
I just wanna know if i should maybe hold tight and get the i9 because it has more cores.
Thoughts?

Support for the Intel 9th gen CPUs has been added with a BIOS update.
If you need more cores for the tasks you perform then yes, otherwise go with the 8th gen...the savings you could use it for other components.
