ASUS Pro WS WRX80E-SAGE SE WIFI, AMD WRX80 Chipset with AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ PRO 3975WX 32-Core ASUS GeForce RTX™ 3070 Ti TUF-RTX3070 system with 256GB RAM 2 x SAMSUNG 128GB M386AAG40AM3-CWE

I use this as home PC but use also do very intensive(both memory and computing) Poker Solver calculations(Monker Solver and Pio Solver).

Added 2 x SAMSUNG 128GB M386AAG40AM3-CWE so now I have 4 128GB modules and the boad has 8 Chanel RAM(8slots it supports up to 8X256GB).

Does it matter what configuration(what slots/channels) I place RAM modules in? View: https://imgur.com/a/0BJ3zDa

It does matter so check MB manual for configuration, best results are with same at both sides.

Does it look good, why speed is 1600 the modules should be 3200Mhz?

A, B, C, D - E, F, G, H. Those sound like alphabetic orders to me.

The Speed is 1600Mhz because that's the clockspeed your modules run at for an effective speed of 3200MT/s. 1600Mhz produces a transfer speed of 3200MT/s (Megatransfers)

C1,D1 and G1,H1 on my Supermicro for 4 Dimms, My old Threadripper was only happy with 2999MT ram settings. 3xxx series memory controller doesn't like higher speeds.
my 5955WX is happy running at 8x16GB @ 3200MT
