Just got my board and noticed the M.2 is PCIe 4.0. Is there an SSD NVMe in the marketplace that's 4.0? I have an SK Hynix Gold S31 SSD SATA. I was hoping I bought the fastest, gen, forum for the slot. I know SK is not the fastest in tests I was looking for the latest Tech.

It can depend on what CPU you have on the motherboard also. I believe you will need a series 3000 - 5000 cpu to be able to make full use of the PCIe 4.0 speed. The Ryzen APU's, the ones ending in G, only work at PCIe 3.0 speed.

So you will need a appropriate CPU on the motherboard as well as a PCIe 4.0 capable NvMe drive. There are plenty on the market, just depends on your budget and what is available in your area.

I did find one, Samsung PCIe4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD. I see what you mean by 4.0. What's confusing about the issue is some SSD's are saying 3rd & 4th Gen. Is there such a thing?

Not too sure of your meaning there. If a M.2 SSD says its 3.0x4 it just means it uses 4 channels at PCIe 3.0 speed.
A PCIe 4.0 M.2 drive should also work at a slower speed.

Enjoy your new machine.
