Question Asus Q405UA - Dual external monitors?

I purchased the Asus Q405UA on a good black Friday deal along with 2 monitors. 1 hdmi to hdmi and another usb c to hdmi. However, I can't seem to get 2 monitors to display at once. I 've tried a bunch of different setups, but never could get it running.

Is this a limitation of the on board graphics card? Should I get an external docking station like the one I linked below, along with a DVI to HDMI?

Make and model of your monitors? You should ideally work off a dock that is natively connected to your Type-C port and then hook the two monitors to your dock.

I agree entirely, I have that type of setup for myself.

I did forget to mention that this is my brother in law's setup. Initially he was hesitant on a docking station type setup. I think I'll go ahead and get him a dock and call it a day.

Have any recommendations?

I'll ask him to get me the monitor make/model whenever he gets a chance.
