I recently put together my first PC. I chose parts that would fit my needs and my budget, with the help of pcpartbuilder. I did about 2 weeks worth of research on every part before pulling the plug and buying. Only thing I didnt research as much was PSU. My build went together great and everything booted up easily. After setting all my drivers and programs. Running autodesk inventor 2015 was one of my priority's when building this. I drew a part up and made a 3d model no issue, when creating a stress analysis for it, it runs the analysis without issue. But when collecting the report the computer BSOD's and shows 0xa0000001. Doing some research it could be that my drivers are messed up (already checked and all is well there) or my PSU is not powerful enough. The R9 270X says right on the box minimal 500W/24A, this makes me believe I am under powered. Please someone help me crack down the answer to this issue I have been doing all kinds of research.

My setup:
Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0
Asus R9 270X 4GB
AMD FX 6300
Kingston 125GB SSD
(1) 8GB G. RipJaw 1600
Corsair CX500

It's more than enough. Even a good 400W PSU would handle this setup without a hinch (if you're not into overclocking).

Regarding the BSOD, I would recommend uninstalling and doing a complete cleanup of your drivers before reinstalling. Also updating your BIOS won't hurt (can be a MoBo issue).
