Recently my GPU has been reaching 90C and I was looking around on the internet and people say that high temps are normal for the 270x, but this has only started recently. A few weeks ago I sent it to ASUS to get worked on because I was having problems with it, but before I sent it in, it was reaching nowhere near 90C. I am not overclocking anything. I don't know what to do other than replace my crappy fans with some new ones. I am very bad at typing these things so sorry if this seems very vague, just ask me anything you need to know.

Specs:
ASUS R9 270x
Intel i7-4790
MSI Z97-G45
Corsair CX750

I'm terrible at wire management, I know.

Solution
I'd remove the heatsink, clean it off and apply new heat grease, or contact ASUS and let them know what is happening. Either they installed the heatsink on your card again and did not do it well or they sent you a different card that has heat issues.

I found the problem, I guess when ASUS sent it back to me, they didn't put on thermal paste, because there was none on it. So now I have to go get some thermal paste. I also cleaned it and that brought the temp down a few degrees.

No I'm not using it, and I can change the fans speed.
And I also found the problem. There was no thermal paste on it, but that's getting fixed soon.
