Asus Radeon HD 7750

Ok, so after I researched for 1 hour I decided I was going to get Radeon 7750 over the GTX 650. And I was wondering if the 7750 needs a PCI-E connector I dont really know much about GPU's so please help. And another thing; Im planning to put it in a 300 watt system (the specs). SO if I were to put it in this 300w system would it die? third thing thing; It says on the HP website that it uses "PCI Express x16" does that mean it is PCI-E 1.0, does it also mean it doesn't support a PCI-E 3.0

PCI Express x16 is a LARGE PCI slot.
PCI Express 1.0 is a SMALL slot used for soundcards etc.

You SHOULD be fine adding the 7750. However there is no guarantee because a crap 600w PSU may be equal to a good 300w one so its generally hard to tell, but looking at the system you posted and the parts in it, I would say that you should be fine.

The motherboard is a Pci-e 2.0 and all cards are backwards compatible so it will work in that slot. The 300w will be close for supporting the 7750 and the card does not need a separate power cable.

Yeah, like the other guy who answered said, PCI-E 3.0 cards are backwards compatible with 2.0 and 2.1 slots. So should work regardless of what slot you have.
