Question Asus Rampage 5 Edition 10 code 00 issue

Hi,

I have the below system that has been running without an issue for 2 years. It is not oveclocked, it is water cooled.

ASUS Rampage 5 edition 10 4x16 GB
Corsair Dominator Platinum Series DDR4 64GB 4x16GB
Intel Core I7 6850k Samsung 960 Pro M.2 2280 Mz-V6p1t0
2x Titan X Pascal GPU
EVGA Supernova 1200 P2 PSU

This morning when I turned it on it did not post. the motherboard says code 00. The motherboard appears to be getting power, all the fans work, the pump works, the LEDs on the motherboard work.

After a time the four memory lights are glowing (on the motherboard). The Ln2 switch is off.

Can you recommend debug steps please. Would you swap out the CPU or the board first?

I would start by yanking out the GPU's one at a time to see if there I an issue with either one. if it'll post, you'll have an idea of where the issue is coming from, try that first. don't mess with the CPU or MB yet

Hi,

Iv'e had exactly the same happen with mine, around the same time too, spooky.
I took the rather drastic step of buying a replacement r5e10 on ebay, (had the EK-FB monoblock on it too, new water cooling system required 😖) it arrived yesterday, & is doing exactly the same.
I'm now wondering what it could be.
Would a dying psu prevent either board getting past POST 00?

Am I right in thinking that a bare motherboard powered up should move past 00 to something else or have I got that wrong?
