Has anyone tried this and is it a heating issue with the small spacing between the slots?

My build
i7 920 3.2ghz currently going for 3.6ghz just haven't bothered
CPU Cooling Scythe Mugen 2 with only 1 fan at the moment.

You should be fine, make sure you have good cable management and airflow....

Thanks, the HAF922 has some rocking cable management like the HAF932. I'm thinking about changing from all 200mm fans on the top and sides to 2x120mm fans a bit louder but twice the airflow it seems.

As far as money is concerned the 932 is basically priced the same as the 922... Kind of a no-brainer...

I already own the HAF922 I like the look better. Also the HAF922 is $79.99 at Micro Center, about $40-60 bucks cheaper depending on where you buy the HAF932.

Yeah for the price and the look with cable management I was extremely happy with the buy.
