Asus-Rampage-V-Extreme Compatibility Issues?

I have recently built a new DDR4 based system with the Rampage V Extreme as my motherboard. But I am having some difficulty using it with my Asus PCE AC68 network adapter?

Does anybody know of any compatibility issues with the motherboard and other network adapters?

The motherboard has it's own network adapter built in, which I can not find a way to disable in the bios!

Can anyone provide any help?

Have you checked the settings in Windows Device Manager? Find the on-board, right-click it and select "Disable". Then check to see if the PCI adapter is showing - if it is, make sure it's enabled. If you don't have the PCE-A68 utility software installed, you can find it here:

Update: If the PCI adapter is not showing in Device Manager, try powering down and removing the card. Reboot, check device manager to ensure on-board adapter is disabled, then shut down again, reinstall the PCI adapter and reboot.
