Asus ranger z97

Really interested in this board for a build can anyone give and feedback on this board from people that have or do in fact own it currently? Be appreciated

instead go for msi z97 Gaming 7 for better performance, but asus has better support.

The Ranger board is a fantastic board, if slightly overpriced. It has plenty of features, the amazing Asus ROG BIOS, and great support from Asus itself.

If you're okay to spend the extra money for a Maximus board (and many are prepared to do so) then it would be a great choice - otherwise the MSI Z97 Gaming 5 is a great board for a cheaper price, and follows the same colour scheme.

Yes, but the price tag is a bit too high compared the the advantages. What processor are you using? If it's an i5 4690K and up then I recommend the Ranger, if it's lower than that (i3, low end i5) then I recommend the Gaming 5.

It's also down to personal preference. If you like the looks and features of the Ranger and are happy to pay the price tag, then go for it.
