Asus Realtek front panel sounds muffled

I got my new mother board the Asus z170-a and when I went into realtek the front panel sounds muffled and low the rest are fine. The front is the one giving me trouble.

in the realteck software control there a check box to make the front and rear audio two diffrent outputs make sure that check box is on or off.

I tried both option the sound still sounds off

make sure your in the right port. most front cases one is the mic port. also see if the audio port and or headphone plug not lining up. i had a head set i had to use a 3 party audio cable as i would not get full sound unless the audio pl;ug was slightly pulled out from the port.

I have the Asus 7170-A motherboard and I went into the Asus Realtek HD manager to test out the sound but the front speaker sound low compared to the side and rear speakers. How can i fix this? Also the headphones that I am using is the Astros A40s
