Although the H510 chipset is newer, the H470 chipset offers a superior feature set.

Since the H470 is a higher-end SKU, I'm almost certain that the H470 chipset being used by the H510 motherboards has some features disabled or cut down to make it appear on the same level as the H510 series.

Also, Intel obviously offered compatibility between the Comet Lake and Rocket Lake CPU series, as both could be used on the same motherboard platform.

Recycling implies the parts have been unsoldered, re-balled and put onto new motherboards.

For industrial PCs, such as Point Of Sale terminals, it is common to use laptop chipsets with desktop CPUs.

I have two motherboards with a similar situation. MSI Pro H410M-B motherboard that has an H510 chipset and another MSI Pro H510M-B motherboard that has an H570 chipset instead. Thus that means these mobos would now get the features of H510 and H570? Like H570 has memory overclock.
