I Just Built this ASUS system it totally rocks!
I could'nt be happier with it! It took a while to save up for it but it was worth every dollar!
ASUS P5GDC Deluxe is the best motherboard I have ever owned it overclocks a treat! I'm running a p4 3Ghz at 3.3 I've had it up to 3.83Ghz tottaly stable just need a new cooler! The ASUS Extreme AX800XT is equal in quality I run it at 535mem\535core over the stock 500\500 It has'nt missed a beat!

You're saying this after just assembling it? You're an idiot.

My P4C800-E worked GREAT for a few days, then started small voltage fluctuations (vCore), then those got continuously worse until I basically couldn't get much of an overclock anymore.

In fact, I wrote a review on the board, you can read it at Sysopt, with links to other people with the same problem and solutions they've found by modifying the board.

Asus sux, you just haven't had time to find out.

I'm in my second asus board right now and I've been happy with it so far. The only problem I had is that the one I currently have, only has AI overclocking options and no regular way to increase fsb but I should have researched this a bit more I just needed a good and cheap replacement fast.

I'm saying that blanket praise is not valid unless the board has been tested over an extended period of time. He PM'd me and said the system has been up over a month, which gives his praise more validity than simply saying "I just built this thing and it's the best". "Just built" implies that a person hasn't had time to uncover any problems that may or may not exist.

It probably was excessive, but testimonials based only on initial impressions scare me. It wasn't until he contacted me I found he actually had any burn-in time on it.
