Did they ever fix the overheating microSD card slot?

I know there is an aftermarket L-shaped adapter so it can use a 2280 SSD. Hopefully Asus can add native 2280 support.

There is nothing hardware wise coming out which would impact most of the lows for the Ally unless they had AMD make a truly custom SoC more in line with Van Gogh and nobody has heard about it.

They can fix up things like moving the SD card reader, more memory and/or faster memory, bigger battery and potentially make room for full sized M.2 drives. None of this would make me want to replace mine, but hopefully they would be enticing for people who were waiting on a second version. I highly doubt the sales of an incremental improvement will be anywhere near as high though and I hope Asus will have taken that into account.
