Review Asus ROG Azoth Extreme Review: $500

The price is only slightly less ridiculous than, say, the Angry Miao Hatsu. But only slightly. This doesn't even have the benefit of being the best in any one aspect, it's simply overpriced because of the ROG moniker.

Exactly what I was curious about. I know customs can get expensive. Will the premium custom keyboards come with rgb software and stuff?
They usually come with open sourced software you can flash to the boards if you do not like VIA. They also come with better materials selection, tons more customization options of almost every respect, and so on. This is a 200-300 dollar board at best. It probably has a 70% profit margin...

$500 and it doesn't even have hall effect switches. Judging by reviews the typing experience sounds nice but I don't see any gamers accepting the significantly higher latency that results for a fixed actuation point, no rapid trigger, and no rappy snappy.

ASUS should have gone with a non-gamer aesthetic because the way it's currently advertised to gamers, it's pretty embarrassing that a $500 keyboard is loosing to $150 - $175 keyboards because the $500 board is missing a critical feature.
