[SOLVED] ASUS ROG B450-F audio problem

So i just installed my new b450 f motherboard and for some reason i cant get my headphones to work on the front pannel connector. I know the problem is not the headphones or the hd audio cable its self because i tested it with a difrent motherboard. can someone help me trouble shoot this issue.

If you go to "Control Panel > Sound > Playback" are your headphones listed? Are they set as default?

I forgot to state that my headphones or any device I plug into the front I/O is not being recognized. I have my speakers which are plugged into the back of the mobo set as default.

Do you have your motherboards Sonic Studio III software installed on your PC?
Is the headphone jack on the back I/O panel of your motherboards working?
Have you double checked the front headphone jack is plugged into the motherboard correctly?

Yes I have both the software and drivers installed and the ports on the back of the motherboard are working. I have double checked many times to see if they are plugged in correctly. I have the nzxt h510 If it helps

Thanks for the help my headphones are now working properly when I use the front I/O.
