I am using one of these right now, and many points of this review are spot on, but some aren't or at least are a matter of preference, all in all, a good review.
The specs are too aggressive for a thin hybrid form. The i9 12900H is unlikely to be running at full potential in such a form factor where cooling is definitely lacking. I’ve used a hybrid before and even with a 15W TDP ULV processor, it was running very hot. So I can imagine a 45W class mobile processor in there, it’ll probably melt the components in there if it’s allowed to run at native power requirement.
The machine has more than enough thermal headroom for the i9 due to the rather over-the-top design of the thermals. Which I can only assume plays a big role in the cost of the tablet. Where issues are found is when running both the i9 and the built-in 3050 at full tilt. At that point, you will have some throttling. This is because both the i9 and the 3050 share the same fans and vapor chamber.
To this point, I will argue that without the xg-mobile it is just not a gaming tablet, but more than sufficient for office work. I think that with so many gamers now occupying the same market space as content creators and business persons this tablet has a place in the market, if only a niche one.
The cameras are kind of crap, particularly the forward camera compared to most smart phones. I can't help but think that's purely a software issue though. The results should look much better than they do for the sensor inside
