So I recently purchased the asus rog g20, it has 16gb of ddr4 ram, I-7 6700k @3.4ghz nvidia 1070 8gb ddr5 1tb hdd. So the problem is: My disk usage bounces and constantly spikes to 100% even if nothing is using it in task manager, I noticed because when I was installing games via steam my download speed was 24mb/s and my disk usage on steam was 2.8mb/s When I saw that I looked into my task manager and saw that its almost always at 100% like I said. I have tried mulitiple things, I even took the unit back and got another brand new one from a different store and am still having the same problem. any help would be great thanks.

Hey there, Lazy turtle.

Having in mind you've had the the same issue with two different units might mean that it's an OS related problem (having in mind both of them are running the same version of Windows). So go ahead and check for an available OS update to see if that fixes things up.
You can never be too careful, so I'd recommend that you download an SSD/HDD diagnostic tool as well and test the drive for errors, just to be on the safe side.
You could also try disabling some OS features which are usually associated with that type of problem: Superfetch, Prefetch and BITS (Background Intelligent Transfer Service), to see if anything changes.

Hope that helps. Please let me know how it goes.
