Question Asus ROG G20AJ tower making obscenely loud noise out of nowhere

Didn’t know if this was the correct forum/subforum to ask this, but starting recently my (~$800, barely a few years old) tower has been making a disturbingly loud humming noise that last lasts roughly a few minutes before dissipating. It seems to sometimes (not always) happen upon awaking from sleep mode and logging in, though I’ve also seen it happen when opening a program (using the battle.net launcher). I’m hoping it isn’t an internal issue, because there have been absolutely no possible external elements that could damage the interior in any way, and I’d rather not take the entire thing apart. I don’t believe the fans are clogged, but it’s not entirely impossible.

Could be the fan bearings starting to fail, if it is a case fan try to locate where it is loudest and give it a "tap" with your finger and see if it changes pitch - quick way to locate it on the outside of the case.

normally on a case you have a side panel that comes off with two screws not the back panel its bound to be a fan have a look inside it.
