Hi. I have a bit of an issue.
Last week i received a new GPU. ASUS NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 DUAL OC 6GB.
The problem is that the new GPU is too big for the case and it won't reach the PCI-Express port.
I can buy a PCI-Express extender but then i would need to have the computer open and i don't want that because of dust etc.

Im wondering if i can reinstall all the parts in a new case in which the GPU fits?
Im not that good with computers unfortunately and that's why im reaching out.

If anyone can recommend me a solution or guide me in the right way of solving it i will greatly appreciated it!

The GPU was a present from my employer so i can't really ask for the receipt because the GPU is a used one from our sister company

Thank you in advance for the answer.
Best Regards
Oliver

I think the motherboard for g20 is a custom laptop/desktop h170 motherboard, it uses laptop grade power delivery and so dimm ram, desktop cpu and gpu. It’s difficult to fit everything in a case without heavy modification, as the screw holes are non standardized atx and power supply a laptop one.
Looks like that system has a seperate compartment for the graphics card anyway using a pci-e extender. Can you show any pics of whats stopping it fitting?

Might be a pain to transfer to a different case as it may not be a standard size motherboard.
