Question ASUS ROG G20CI 1TB nvme.2 upgrade

I just bought an ADATA SX8200 pro 1TB and took out my old Sandisk x400 nvme and installed it in to my motherboard but when im in the BIOS it dosent show up only my HDD shows and i have to boot it from my Toshiba HDD now. Is there a way to boot this computer with a 1TB m.2? Or is it to much maybe i need the 512 gb version? I also tried to disconnect my HDD but then nothing just bios restarting over and over. I updated my bios to 1402, but still nothing showing in boot option. Does anyone know how if its possible to install the 1TB version to boot drive on my computer?

Sandisk x400 is sata type. not nvme.

is not going to show up in boot option until you install windows.

Windows is installed on the HDD im using now. Do i need to reinstall windows?

could be the drive failed? got another pc/laptop to test the new m.2 with?

Thank you fore answering, i talked to asus now and they said it only supports up to 512gb nvme 🙁 I didnt know it was limitations on how much memory you can have, guess i need to switch to a 512gb version and see if that works.
