ASUS ROG G751JT-CH71 or G750 JS-NH71 for gaming

Both the laptops looks beast.
ASUS ROG G751JT-CH71 is $1500 and the JS model is 1100.
The only difference is that the first one is GTX 970M with 3GB and the latter is GTX 870M with 3GB.

So for normal gaming like metro, and crysis, how much difference will it make? I was concerned that its not always the case that with big and powerful hardware, you get all the juice. With this high end graphics card, there may be heat issues and tons of other issue just because the fact that the technology is not that advanced currently to manage all this power properly.

So should I just stick with 870m or is it that 870M's are now history and 970M's are the way to go.

How much better? Is there a really big performance difference ?? ...for 970m I also will have to pay extra $400. Is it worth it ? Or should I use the 870M for 2 years and later buy another good laptop at that time. Or should I put in extra $400 and be able to play most games 3 years from now ?

You should definitely put in those $400 to be safe in future. The GTX 970m is 30% more faster than GTX 870m
