ASUS ROG GL551JW optical drive to ssd

Hello,

I have recently bought a ASUS ROG GL551JW-DS71, which comes with 1 hdd bay.
I want to teplace the optical drive's bay with an ssd, but I don't really know how to do this. I know that I need some sort of adaptor, but I can't find any online for this machine.

Can anybody help?

Well - technically you'll probably be voiding you're warranty if you do so. I haven't ever had to work on an ASUS Laptop but working on laptops can be very difficult. I personally would recommend that you bring it to a shop if you still insist on doing this. With such a nice laptop I would take some precautions such as taking pictures if you don't know anyone at the shop. If you do take it to a shop make sure you understand the 'agreement'/'etc' when they're doing this work; IE: If some how they kill your laptop will they replace it, etc. It's totally possible that you can replace it yourself but you possibly could end up killing it yourself.
