Question Asus Rog GL553VW-FY036T not boot up after installing Samsung SSD PM951

I tried to add a Samsung SSD ( PM951 256GB M.2 PCI-e 3.0 x 4 NVMe Solid State Drive (MZVLV256HCHP-00000) ), but after installation, when I power on, laptop get stuck on Asus logo?

My Laptop Model No. is GL553VW-FY036T

Could anybody please help me out as soon as possible.

and if you remove that ssd, and put in the old one does it still boot?

Hi Buddy, i dont have old SSD, but if i remove the above mentioned SSD, laptop boots normally.

I don't see where it said it support pcie type ssd.

could try a sata type m.2 or test the current m.2 on a system that known to work with pcie m.2 to make sure it work.

also check bios update, there might be a fix. but *warning**** it might brick the laptop.
