Hello,

Recently I have received the glorious PG278Q. After unboxing with great excitement, I came to find the power cord was that of a European design. I am wondering if it is possible to simply buy the correct ASUS Power Supply / Cord combo to replace the EU that it came with or do I need to RMA?

If so, could someone point me in the right direction as to where I should buy from? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I live in the US.

Respectfully,

I called ASUS customer support and it was one of the worst experiences that I've had in awhile. I got a case number, then was transferred to another department. The lady on the phone told me that since it came with an EU cord, that that is the only cord this monitor comes with. I insisted she was wrong about this, and that it was a packaging mistake since this is a North American model. She just kept saying no, and that it is bundled with an EU cord. She told me to buy an adapter. When I asked to speak to her supervisor, she said there were none available. I asked for an employee ID or some way to reference her service and she refused to give any information.

All that I need is the exact model of the power adapter this monitor comes with, so I can simply replace it with a version that has a normal North American three pronged power cord. can't find this information anywhere.

I am not going to be dealing with ASUS anymore.
