Hi all, I'm expecting to finally receive my Asus Rog 3080 card this week after waiting since September :/
I was looking to get the following, https://rog.asus.com/cases/rog-strix-riser-cable-model/
(Asus Vertical GPU Mount) I have seen on the website it is for PCIe 3.0. Looking at the specifications of the Asus 3080 it uses a PCIe 4.0.
My motherboard is a Asus Rog B550-F (Wi-Fi) which I believe has PCIe 4.0. My question is, if I was to use the vertical GPU adapter and change the Bios settings to use PCIe 3.0 would that affect performance on the GPU? I cant seem to find any vertical GPU mounts PCIe 4.0.
Can someone help me with the question would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks.
