My 1070 ti I just purchased brand new is no longer providing any signal to the monitor via a displayport (also tried hdmi cable). The bios shows no GPU being connected to the motherboard anymore. It was working perfectly fine last night as I was playing Fortnite but mid-game the screen went black and the fans speeds seem to have shot up to 100%. I have tried disabling on-board graphics, I changed the PCIE slot in the CSM settings to legacy and UEFI, still nothing. However, i went into the device manage and clicked on the View to view Hidden Devices and my GPU came up as an option. I tried uninstalling it along with all drivers and then restarting the computer. Once I restarted the computer I tried to install the drivers but I end up with an error saying "The graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware."

Please help as this is my first PC build and I am completely stuck on what to do. Thank you.

Build:
Intel 7700k
Asus Z270-a Prime motherboard
16 GB Ballistix RAM
Corsair 850w TX850M
Corsair H110i v2 cpu cooling
Corsair 570x case
Corsair exhaust fan

Running windows 10 64-bit

*** I should also note that I was using an xbox one controller to play fortnite and it was plugged in with a charging cable but i had taken out the rechargeable battery while playing. I read a few posts with similar issues on other sites and they said it could be the power supply.

**** I have tried a different PCI-E slot already. Same issue.

Solution
Re-install the video card and re-connect the PSU cables to it. Also try a different PCI-E slot in case there's an issue with the one it's being plugged into.

I don't believe it is dead. It still turns on and the fans spin and as well the red leds turn on too.

*Edit: Was not dead.

Okay I tried this and it worked in the sense that the fans aren't spinning 100% anymore. But there still is no signal!!!

*Edit: just reinstalled drivers and it's good to go again! Thank you so much! I love you, toshibitsu!

**Solution: Reconnected PCI-E cables into a different output in Power supply.
