Asus ROG STRIX B360-H stops at post

The ram led comes on at start up but doesn't stay on. Nothing gets displayed to the screen.

Motherboare: Asus ROG STRIX B360-H Gaming
CPU: i5 - 9600k
GPU: ROG STRIX RTX 2070
PSU: evga Supernova NEX 750B
RAM: 2X8 Corsair DDR4 2666MHz

How do I update the bios with out buying a new CPU? Would I be able to update it without a CPU and put the CPU back in after?

No. You'd need a CPU for accessing the BIOS. Try returning the board and buying instead a Z390 board. A local pc store might also help.

As in I take my board or my whole computer in and they will update the bios?

Yes. But call them firstly and make sure that they can do it.

I took my computer to the store I purchased everything from and they were able to update it. It now posts, but it doesn't detect my hard drive and says "there are no bootable drives." I only have one hard drive and it worked before I upgraded my hardware. I am lost once again.
Update: I had to enable "Launch CSM" in the bios. But now my mouse and keyboard work while I'm in the bios but do not work while I am in windows.

You are probably using Win 7. I suggest upgrading to Win 10 and reinstalling.

Install windows 10 and reinstall windows 7? Wouldn't I be back where I started?

No. The suggestion was to start using Win 10 instead of Win 7.

I got Windows 10 and now it works. I also called Asus support and they said the motherboard doesn't support windows 7. Thank you for all the help.
