[SOLVED] Asus rog strix b450f gaming cpu led light

I just finished building my new pc and my red led light is showing up which means there is an error with my cpu. I was just able to access my bios and then it switched off. Now there is no post or display on my monitor. I’ve reseated my ram, reseated cpu and checked for bent pins on my cpu.
I am using my old fm2 socket cooler until my new one arrives but I don’t think that has anything to do with it. All the fans in my pc are spinning.
Any help on what to do is appreciated

Cpu-Ryzen 7 2700x
Motherboard-Asus rog strix b450f gaming
Ram-Corsair vengeance rgb pro 3600mhz
Gpu-Msi r9 290
Psu-Evga 750gq

how did you get the fm2 cooler to fit on am4?

I tried it just to see if it would work and it did. It clips onto the ”hooks” that come on the motherboard when you buy it to mount a cooler. I’ll wait for the cooler and see if it affects it.
