Hi all, so I recently upgraded my ram to a slightly faster speed (old: 2x8gb 3200mhz cl16)(current: 2x8gb 3600mhz cl18) however after installing the new ram my PC only detects 1stick, previously I had been using the 2nd and 4th channel slots on the Motherboard and went with the same setup on the newer ram. I originally thought I must not have inserted one of the sticks correctly however when I took them out and swapped the one that was originally in Channel 2 placed it in Channel 4 and the stick in 4 to 2 it failed to post/boot which was a little strange as when I reverted them back around again it booted again but only detected 8gb again.. do I need to increase the voltage in bios 1.35v? Reset cmos, or play around with the ram in the 1st and 3rd Channel or do I simply have a faulty stick of ram, which I'm unsure of as it detects one of the sticks and then swapped the other way around in the same channels it does not detect either any help or suggestions much appreciated.
