Motherboard: Asus rog strix b550i
CPU: ryzen 7 5800x
Corsair vengeance 2x8 RAM
GPU: rtx 3060ti (removed)

New build. Pulled my other pc apart to swap bits out but never built from scratch.

Followed all instructions/YouTube guides and PC turns on but does nothing.

I downloaded and supposedly installed the latest BIOS via flash.

I removed the gpu and plugged into mobo hdmi port.

It turns on and the mobo lights cycled through orange, red before settling on BOOT and VGA giving me a nice white/yellow glare.

I tried redoing the BIOS with a different usb stick. I removed the gpu. I have scoured these forums and YouTube for any inkling as to what to do next.

A lot of knowledgeable people here so hoping someone can help!

Did you follow the instructions with the BIOS update that says ''Before running the USB BIOS Flashback tool, please rename the BIOS file (SB550IG.CAP) using BIOSRenamer."

Ah I assumed with an HDMI on the mobo it would. Will plug that back in.

I updated to the latest version on ASUS’s website for the b550i.

I did try with just one RAM stick it just did exactly the same.

Yes file was renamed using the renametool.

It flashes green then eventually stops after a few minutes when I plug it into the flash port and press the button.

I assume trying it multiple times with different USB sticks wouldn’t ruin anything?
