Hello everyone.

Just a general question for a motherboard without wifi. It is an ASUS rog stirx B550-A mb. It doesn't have wifi and only advertises an ethernet cable connection. I understand that a wifi module can be added if the mb has an M.2 key E port but i can't find any information about that for this board. Will I have any other options for wireless wifi with this board?

Thanks

Solution
Your best option is a PCI-E wifi adapter. Something like this. I believe it's the same wifi, that is actually on my x570 itx board, and it has been flawless, for me. The second one is actually a wifi 6E card, which paired with a 6E router, is the fastest Wifi you can get.

Hey, thanks for the reply. Ahh so this just goes into one of the PCIE x1 slots on the motherboard? Is it any different to this model : GC-WB1733D-I. And I assume it also has Bluetooth.

Yes it goes into a PCI-E x1 slot, on the motherboard. Yes they have bluetooth. That model is a slower/older model.
Ahhh ok I see that now. just One more question, will a better wifi module just affect top speeds or will it affect my general connection. I only average 70mbps right now, so would that be the same with the two models or the newer AX200/210 would give me quicker speeds?
thanks
