Hi there,
I am thinking about buying this new laptop and was wondering what bios version was being used for the bios? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Well, a list of BIOSes for that laptop can be found here: https://www.asus.com/us/Notebooks/ROG-GL702VM/HelpDesk_Download/
But more importantly, why? From the list of BIOSes listed in that link, which one is installed on an individual laptop will depend on when it was made. I.e. a laptop made before the latest BIOS was released may not have the latest, while a new laptop probably would. But again, I don't see what difference this makes to you or why you want to know.

Hi there,
I read that there is a problem with the keyboard. I'm not sure if the new laptop has been updated. I was just wondering What brand bios it was? Thanks in advance

I don't know what you mean "what brand bios". Do you mean what BIOS revision?
If you look at the list of BIOSes in the link I posted, you'll see that the description for the latest BIOS says "Fix keyboard issue". Even if the laptop doesn't come with that BIOS installed, you can always upgrade it yourself.

As I said in my first post, which BIOS revision a laptop has will likely depend on when it was manufactured. There's no way anyone could tell you what BIOS is going to be installed just based on the model number. You can try calling the retailer you're thinking of buying from and asking what BIOS is installed, they may be able to tell you. But like I said, regardless of what BIOS it comes with, you can download the latest revision from ASUS website and update it yourself to fix the keyboard issue.
