Question Asus ROG STRIX Rx 580 keeps crashing is it dying?

For the past few days everytime i launch a game after about 5 min it will crash and i get a popup saying that something went wrong and now it wont output to two monitors , ive tried updating my drivers and nothing changed. It still outputs to my main monitor and video playback is fine i just want to know if its dying or not and if anyone knows a way to fix the issues

Thermal shut down. Check the GPU temp. A quick fix for this is to remove and replace both the thermal paste on the GPU and the thermal pads on the memory chips. This will of course void any warranty you may have but the trade off is that your card will probably live to see much more gaming. Good luck.

what is the acceptable temperature range cause gpu z reports that it is staying that my temps are low 80's
