Does the heatsink not have a pad pre-installed? My B550 Aorus pro ac has two m.2 slots both with heatsinks that came with pad pre-installed

Sorry i forgot to mention i dont have the motherboard at the moment, its scheduled for Monday delivery & both nvme ssd will arrive today. also i just found another issue with having both M.2 slots populated with NVME Drives, do i have enough lanes for rtx3080 as later i plan on buying a 3080 when & if they ever get in stock, my question is will i lose performance using 2 nvme pcie ssd drives.

There are enough lanes. 980 is 4.0. You need 4 for that. 16 for GPU. You're good. 970 is 3.0. No performance loss
