I want to know if this motherboard will support overclocking on a Core i7 7700k

yes you can update its tested with succes its overclocable i have hit 5ghz with turbo boost off with 1.31 voltage

Definitely... I have a Hero Alpha and it OC's like a champ... I have been impressed with all the ROG Strix stuff...
