I just bought the Asus ROG Strixt z370-E for my new computer but when every I restart/turn off or even while I'm playing something the Ethernet disconnects and stops working. The only way for me to get internet back is by uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling the drivers and changing the speed and duplex of it in the properties of the driver to 100 mbps and Full Duplex. When I look at the ethernet adapter options it goes from network cable unplugged to identifying or unidentifed network and back to network cable unplugged. I am on windows 10 64bit.

Solution

A Ethernet cable might look fine but it could be damaged internally, which could be hard to notice unless you use a tester.
I've tried all drivers and nothing fixed it I bought a new Ethernet cable (cat6 1000mbps) and that seemed to fix the problem but my other cable was not damaged so I don't know might be where the port on this motherboard is a 1 gigabit and just need a better cable for it?
