Seems like there has been an issue with the ips monitors and backlight bleed. I'm not sure if I'm just being picky, but I feel like the panel that I just picked up suffers a bit too much for my liking. I understand that this is something that comes with the ips panels, but it does bug me when playing dark games or watching dark scenes in a show. For example, in the Witcher 3, I lose a lot of clarity at the corners of the screen.

So what do you think? Am I just being too picky? Should I return it and just go for one of the TN panels? I'm not wowed by the color on the ips panels and viewing angles aren't absolutely necessary on a monitor.
