Asus Rog Swift pg279q black flicker problem

I purchased an Asus Rog Swift pg279q and it keeps flickering black if I'm using anything higher than 60Hz.

My cpu is Intel I7-8700k Six core processor, and my gpu is the 1080Ti.

I have tried it without Nvidia gsync also and still it plays up.

Any ideas?

Have you tried another DP cable, and factory resetting it?

I will be trying a new lead as of tomorrow as i got the Ugreen display port and i am not sure if it's capable, i Am hoping it is just the lead. The black flickering happens with anything above 85hz, 85hz and below is fine. Factory resetting ? as in the monitor ? If so, how would i do this on this monitor ? Thanks.
